Sage Counseling Services Inc, Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling was created by our family, to help support your family. We are Sara and Eric Martinez, two licensed mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting youth, families and adults- currently offering virtual or in person sessions.
We come to you with over 30 years of combined experience working in the mental health field. We met each other early in our careers, while both working in a residential treatment program for youth. Our professional and personal styles compliment each other well, and when we combine our experiences and education as individuals we make a powerful team!
We each have a master's degree in mental health (Eric's in clinical counseling, Sara's in clinical social work). We have lived and worked in the Bay Area for over a decade, and are excited to use our experience and expertise to help serve our community, and support individuals and families like you.

Eric Martinez LPCC
Therapist
Eric is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who works with children, teens and adults. He is well versed in the use of CBT, ACT and EMDR in treating mood disorders and trauma. He has a special focus in helping youth who are transitioning back from residential treatment programs. Eric is friendly, compassionate and is considered a “unicorn” in the field of mental health, as a bilingual, bicultural, male therapist.
On the weekends, he likes to spend time with family, take long walks with our little dog and work on house projects. Eric is bilingual/bicultural and he practices Aztec dancing as part of his heritage and self-care.
